Help CenterAMIGOS recommends that each volunteer purchase travel insurance. Each family is responsible for ensuring they have purchased a policy with coverage that meets their needs.
For your convenience, we are sharing an option from MDM Group, an independent travel insurance provider. Please note that AMIGOS does not have a formal partnership with MDM Group; we simply suggest them as a possible resource based on the plans they offer.
If you choose their Program Protection Plan, it can cover:

Program Fee Payments & Airfare Costs.

Travel or baggage delays (out-of-pocket expenses).

Medical emergency evacuations.

Cancellations due to last-minute personal or medical issues (including COVID-19).

Isolation expenses should a volunteer contract COVID-19 during the project
